Vision and Mission of JSMESEA:

1. Vision

To create influence on academicians/teachers/educators to provide opportunities for discussion and exchange of ideas across the globe specifically in Science and Mathematics education.                

2. Mission

To publish high-quality research papers that are innovative, thought-provoking, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in Science and Mathematics Education.


JSMESEA publishes the following types of article:

1. Full Research article

Full research article is an original research focus with clear articulation of its significance, a scientifically acceptable methodology, and critical analysis and discussion of the findings. The components of the article consist of Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Acknowledgement and References. The article should be typed in A4 size paper and within 15 pages or 4,500 - 6,500 words (including figures and tables). Papers, in English with spelling conforming to the Concise Oxford Dictionary of Current English, should be typed in Times New Roman font at 12-point size, one and a half spaced with margins on all four sides of 2 cm on standard A4 paper.

2. Review Article

A review article summarises and evaluates the current state of understanding on a specific research topic. It is based on previously published research and does not contain new results. They can be of three types: literature reviews, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses. The article should neither exceed 1,500 words (approximately 6 pages) nor be divided up into conventional sections. When submitting a Review Article, authors should make it clear that their work is to be treated as such.
