Hubungan Antara Sikap Dan Kepercayaan Pengurusan Ruang Pembelajaran Dengan Jantina, Tahap Pendidikan, Dan Pengalaman Mengajar Guru-Guru Prasekolah

Abstract

Pendidikan prasekolah merupakan suatu pengalaman awal bagi kanak-kanak yang berkaitan dengan dunia pendidikan dan domain perkembangan kanak-kanak. Pada tahap prasekolah, guru-guru perlu mengaplikasikan strategi yang bersesuaian supaya proses pembelajaran dan pemudahcaraan dapat dilaksanakan dengan lancar seperti perkembangan fizikal, emosi, dan sosial kanak-kanak. Dengan tujuan tersebut, kajian ini bertujuan menyiasat hubungan antara sikap dan kepercayaan pengurusan ruang pembelajaran dengan jantina, tahap pendidikan dan pengalaman mengajar guru-guru prasekolah. Kajian ini berbentuk kajian tinjauan dan sampel kajian terdiri daripada 300 orang guru prasekolah di Malaysia. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah Sikap dan Kepercayaan Pengurusan Ruang Pembelajaran-Disemak (ABCC-R: Attitudes and Beliefs on Classroom Control Inventory- Revised and Revisited). Analisis korelasi menunjukkan bahawa sikap dan kepercayaan pengurusan ruang pembelajaran berkadar positif dengan tahap pendidikan dan pengalaman mengajar guru-guru prasekolah; manakala ujian-t menunjukkan sikap dan kepercayaan pengurusan ruang pembelajaran berbeza mengikut jantina, t(14) 7.054, p < 0.05. Dapatan korelasi bertepatan dengan dapatan sebelum ini; oleh itu, kajian masa hadapan perlu meneliti fenomena interaksi antara tahap pendidikan dengan pengalaman bagi memahami adakah pengalaman itu sendiri mencukupi untuk membentuk sikap dan kepercayaan pengurusan ruang pembelajaran atau pendidikan? Selain itu kajian juga perlu meneroka secara kualitatif tentang perbezaan yang wujud antara jantina.
