IMPAK PELAKSANAAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN REGULASI METAKOGNITIF DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIK: SATU KAJIAN LITERATUR

Abstract

Regulasi metakognitif sangat signifikan terhadap kemahiran berfikir. Bersesuaian dengan kemahiran merancang, memantau dan menilai sebagai komponen utama dalam regulasi metakognitif, ia dilihat mampu meningkatkan kemahiran berfikir pelajar terutama dalam pembelajaran matematik. Tahap penguasaan matematik yang rendah merupakan isu dalam pembelajaran matematik. Antara faktor yang mempengaruhi penguasaan pelajar adalah keupayaan berfikir dan kebolehan menyelesaiakan masalah matematik. Bagi meningkatkan kemahiran berfikir dan kemahiran menyelesaikan masalah matematik adalah melalui strategi pembelajaran yang mengutamakan pengaturan kendiri terhadap proses dan tindakan berfikir. Salah satu cadangan adalah melalui Strategi Pembelajaran Regulasi Metakognitif (SPRM). Literatur secara sistematik ini bertujuan untuk melihat pelaksanaan SPRM dan menilai impak kepada kemahiran berfikir dan penyelesaian masalah pelajar bagi mengurangkan masalah penguasaan matematik yang masih berada di tahap rendah. Strategi ini sangat relevan dan signifikan dengan kemahiran berfikir dan kebolehan menyelesaikan masalah matematik pelajar. Oleh itu, guru matematik disarankan melaksanakan strategi ini sebagai salah satu intervensi kepada masalah pembelajaran matematik di sekolah
