Kompetensi Digital dalam Kalangan Warga Guru di Malaysia: Sorotan Literatur

Abstract

Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia telah melaksanakan Dasar Pendidikan Digital dengan memberi fokus kepada kompetensi digital dalam kalangan warga pendidik. Hal ini kerana antara perkara penting yang menyumbang kepada pendidikan digital berkualiti tinggi adalah kemahiran guru. Kertas konsep ini adalah sorotan literatur berkenaan tahap kompetensi digital dan kepentingannya dalam kalangan guru di Malaysia. Berdasarkan sorotan literatur yang telah dijalankan, pengkaji mendapati masih terdapat jurang kompetensi digital dalam kalangan guru. Namun begitu, tanpa pengetahuan dan bimbingan yang mencukupi, golongan guru tidak terlepas daripada ancaman jenayah siber. Oleh demikian, kajian ini menyarankan agar pihak berkenaan terutamanya pihak pentadbir sekolah, Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah, Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri dan institusi latihan guru bertindak dengan lebih proaktif untuk membudayakan penggunaan teknologi digital dalam kalangan pendidik. Inisiatif berterusan negara perlu dijalankan untuk meningkatkan kemahiran guru dari masa ke masa.
