Penggunaan Google Classroom terhadap Motivasi dan Pencapaian Murid dalam Subjek Bahasa Melayu

Abstract

Dalam era teknologi yang semakin maju, penggunaan platform pembelajaran digital telah menjadi semakin penting dalam konteks pendidikan. Objektif kajian ini adalah untuk mengenalpasti tahap penggunaan Google Classroom terhadap motivasi dan pencapaian murid Tahun Dua dalam bahasa Melayu. Kajian ini dilakukan untuk memeriksa tahap penggunaan Google Classroom murid, motivasi murid dan pencapaian murid dalam bahasa Melayu setelah menjalankan pembelajaran berasaskan konstuktivisme menggunakan Google Classroom. Reka bentuk kajian dalam kajian ini berbentuk eksperimen pra. Responden adalah 20 orang murid sekolah rendah dari sebuah Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina di daerah Limbang, Sarawak. Instrumen digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data melalui ujian pra dan ujian pasca Bahasa Melayu dalam talian dan juga soal selidik dalam talian yang mengandungi 25 item dengan menggunakan skala Likert lima mata untuk murid. Data yang dikumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan perisian Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) versi 28.0. Pencapaian semua murid meningkat selepas rawatan dengan menggunakan Google Classroom. Murid lebih bermotivasi selepas menggunakan Google Classroom. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahawa Google Classroom memberi kesan signifikan terhadap motivasi dan tahap pencapaian murid dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Melayu. Implikasi bagi ibu bapa, guru dan masyarakat menekankan potensi transformatif Google Classroom dalam membentuk landskap pengajaran bahasa dan pencapaian murid dalam konteks mata pelajaran Bahasa Melayu. Limitasi dan cadangan kajian dimasukkan dalam usaha penyelidikan masa depan akan menyumbang kepada pemahaman yang lebih mantap tentang peranan teknologi dalam pendidikan rendah.
