Kebimbangan Dan Kemahiran Sosial Dalam Kalangan Pelajar Di Sebuah Institusi Pendidikan Islam Di Sarawak

Abstract

Kajian ini dijalankan untuk mengenalpasti tahap kebimbangan dan kemahiran sosial pelajar di sebuah institusi pendidikan Islam di Sarawak serta mengenalpasti hubungan antara tahap kebimbangan dan kemahiran sosial dalam kalangan sampel. Kajian ini menggunakan tiga (3) set soal selidik yang mengandungi Bahagian A (Data demografi Responden), B(DASS-21) iaitu untuk mengukur tahap kebimbangan dan C (Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire) untuk mengukur tahap kemahiran sosial melalui borang ‘Google Form’. Kajian ini telah dijalankan di sebuah institusi Pendidikan Islam di Sarawak dan seramai 80 orang pelajar terlibat dalam kajian ini. Dua kaedah analisis iaitu kaedah analisis deskriptif dan inferens digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk mengenalpasti tahap kebimbangan dan kemahiran sosial pelajar manakala ujian korelasi Pearson digunakan untuk mengenalpasti hubungan antara tahap kebimbangan dan kemahiran sosial pelajar. Hasil dari kajian menunjukkan bahawa tahap kebimbangan pelajar adalah rendah dengan nilai min 1.98 manakala tahap kemahiran sosial pula ialah tinggi dengan nilai min 3.54. Dapatan kajian juga menunjukkan bahawa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kedua-dua faktor dengan nilai korelasi pearson, r ialah - 0.261 yang boleh diklasifikasikan sebagai hubungan signifikan negatif yang rendah. Ini menunjukkan bahawa semakin tinggi tahap kebimbangan pelajar semakin rendah tahap kemahiran sosial mereka. Implikasinya, kajian ini mencadangkan bahawa masalah kebimbangan yang berlaku dalam kalangan pelajar dapat ditangani dengan usaha meningkatkan kemahiran sosial pelajar.
