Hubungan Antara Amalan Profesional Komuniti Pembelajaran (PLC) dan Efikasi Guru: Analisis Kuantitatif ke Atas Guru Sekolah Menengah di Malaysia

Abstract

Kajian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara amalan Professional Learning Community (PLC) dan tahap efikasi guru di kalangan guru Tingkatan Enam (peringkat pra-universiti) di Malaysia. Kajian ini dilakukan di empat daerah di Sabah, salah satu negeri di Malaysia, disertai oleh 108 orang responden. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa terdapat hubungan antara amalan PLC dan efikasi guru tetapi pada tahap yang agak tinggi. Walau bagaimanapun, tidak ada perbezaan dari segi tahap efikasi berdasarkan bidang pengajaran utama, dan hasil yang serupa diperoleh dari perspektif mata pelajaran yang diajar. Dapatan juga menunjukkan bahawa terdapat perbezaan berdasarkan pengalaman mengajar. Guru yang telah berkhidmat lebih dari 10 tahun mempunyai tahap efikasi yang tinggi berbanding dengan guru yang mempunyai pengalaman mengajar kurang dari tiga tahun. Berdasarkan dapatan kajian, pengkaji dapat membuat kesimpulan bahawa PLC adalah sebahagian daripada budaya pengajaran dan pembelajaran di kalangan anggota komuniti sekolah manakala hubungan antara amalan PLC dan efikasi guru dilihat sebagai perkembangan positif dan mempunyai peranan penting dalam menentukan pencapaian sekolah dan pelajar secara amnya.
