Analisis Literatur Bersistematik Terhadap Hubungan Antara Keterlibatan Ibu Bapa Dengan Prestasi Akademik

Abstract

Keterlibatan ibu bapa dalam pembelajaran murid dilihat amat penting sama ada  pembelajaran di rumah ataupun di sekolah. Banyak kajian lepas telah menunjukkan keterlibatan ibu bapa dalam pendidikan berupaya mempengaruhi prestasi akademik anak mereka. Namun begitu, perbincangan secara spesifik tentang jenis skop keterlibatan ibu bapa yang mempengaruhi prestasi akademik anak mereka jarang dibincangkan dalam kajian lepas. Justeru, tinjauan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara terperinci jenis skop keterlibatan ibu bapa yang paling dominan dalam mempengaruhi prestasi akademik anak. Tinjauan literatur bersistematik ini berpandukan kepada langkah tinjauan sistematik yang dicadangkan oleh model PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses). Pengkaji menggunakan lima pangkalan data elektronik yang terkenal untuk mencari artikel jurnal yang dikaji bermula dari tahun 2015 hingga 2020 (tempoh enam tahun) iaitu ERIC (Education Resources Information Center), Semantic Scholar, Microsoft Academic, Routledge (Taylor & Francis Group) dan Springer Link. Sebanyak 40 buah artikel didapati menepati kriteria seperti tahun penerbitan, jenis skop keterlibatan ibu bapa dan bahan rujukan. Dapatan menunjukkan skop kajian sokongan ibu bapa dalam pendidikan anak adalah skop paling dominan dalam mempengaruhi prestasi akademik murid, diikuti dengan jenis skop keterlibatan ibu bapa daripada aspek bantuan ibu bapa secara langsung dalam kerja rumah, komunikasi dengan anak yang berkaitan pendidikan di sekolah,  pemantauan dan kawalan daripada ibu bapa di rumah dan akhir sekali ialah peranan ibu bapa dalam memberi kerjasama kepada pihak sekolah. Namun begitu, kajian dari aspek peranan ibu bapa untuk bekerjasama dengan pihak sekolah bagi meningkatkan prestasi akademik masih kurang dibincangkan. Justeru itu, kajian empirikal perlu dijalankan untuk mengesahkan peranan ibu bapa dalam aktiviti sekolah untuk memangkin prestasi akademik anak mereka.
