Persepsi Guru Pendidikan Khas Terhadap PdP atas Talian Sewaktu Pandemik Covid-19

Abstract

Kehadiran pandemik Covid-19 ini telah menjadikan kaedah PdP atas talian sebagai satu pendidikan norma baharu yang menuntut semua guru di Malaysia melaksanakannya bagi memastikan murid dapat menerima pengajaran yang telah disampaikan. Kebanyakkan langkah-langkah yang diambil untuk kesinambungan pendidikan ditujukan kepada pendidikan arus perdana, sedangkan ramai murid berkeperluan khas mempunyai kesukaran ketika mengikuti kaedah PdP atas talian semasa tempoh pandemik ini disebabkan oleh ketidakupayaan diri mereka. Reka bentuk kajian ialah kaedah tinjauan berbentuk (survey) dan deskriptif. Seramai 108 orang yang dipilih melalui persampelan rawak mudah terdiri daripada guru-guru Program Pendidikan Khas Integrasi (PPKI) sekolah rendah di Negeri Sembilan sebagai responden di dalam kajian ini. Instrumen yang digunakan ialah soal selidik yang diadaptasi daripada kajian lain dan mengandungi empat bahagian dengan menggunakan Skala Likert. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan sikap guru pendidikan khas (min=3.68) terhadap PdP atas talian, tahap kesediaan guru pendidikan khas (min=3.74) terhadap PdP atas talian dan cabaran yang dihadapi guru pendidikan khas (min=3.81) berada pada tahap tinggi. Majoriti guru-guru pendidikan khas mempunyai sikap yang positif dan tahap kesediaan yang tinggi ketika mengaplikasikan PdP atas talian. Terdapat pelbagai cabaran yang dihadapi oleh guru pendidikan khas ketika melaksanakan PdP atas talian. Baik guru-guru, murid berkeperluan khas dan ibu bapa, semuanya tidak mempunyai pengalaman yang cukup ketika melaksanakan PdP atas talian.
