Kemahiran Penyelesaian Masalah Matematik Berayat Dalam Pembelajaran Matematik Di Sekolah Rendah: Sebuah Tinjauan Literatur

Abstract

Kemahiran penyelesaian masalah merupakan salah satu aspek yang penting dan menjadi keperluan dalam kurikulum matematik di seluruh dunia. Dalam konteks Malaysia, pelajar telah didedahkan dengan pelbagai kaedah untuk menyelesaikan masalah matematik berayat yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan seharian melalui Matematik Kurikulum terkini KSSR semakan. Namun, masih ramai pelajar telah dibuktikan menghadapi kesukaran dalam menguasai kemahiran tersebut melalui kajian lepas. Keadaan ini turut disokong dengan prestasi matematik pelajar dalam pentaksiran antarabangsa PISA dan TIMSS yang masih berada di bawah markah purata yang ditetapkan. Hal ini disebabkan kebanyakan soalan yang dikemukakan adalah berbentuk penaakulan dan penyelesaian masalah yang kompleks. Justeru, kertas ini membincangkan literatur berkaitan jenis kesilapan yang kerap dilakukan oleh pelajar semasa menyelesaikan masalah matematik berayat. Selain itu, punca pelajar sukar menguasai kemahiran penyelesaian masalah matematik berayat di dalam kelas juga turut dibincangkan. Sebagai tambahan, pendekatan atau strategi pengajaran yang boleh digunakan oleh seseorang guru matematik bagi membantu pelajar menguasai kemahiran penyelesaian masalah matematik berayat dengan lebih baik turut dibincangkan dalam kertas ini. Kertas ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan sebagai rujukan kepada para guru matematik khususnya di sekolah rendah bagi meningkatkan keberkesanan pengajaran matematik berkaitan kemahiran penyelesaian masalah matematik berayat.
