Amalan Kepimpinan Teknologi Pengetua Dalam Pengintegrasian ICT di Sekolah Menengah Daerah Pekan, Pahang

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi maklumat dan komunikasi (ICT) kian rancak diaplikasikan dalam sistem pendidikan. Dalam konteks ini amalan kepimpinan pengetua selaku pemimpin teknologi perlu diterokai dengan teliti agar pengintegrasian ICT di sekolah dapat diterapkan secara efektif. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti tahap amalan kepimpinan teknologi pengetua dalam pengintegrasian ICT di sekolah menengah. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif berasaskan reka bentuk tinjauan soal selidik. Instrumen kajian diadaptasi daripada Principal Technology Leadership Assessment (PTLA) yang dikeluarkan oleh ISTE berdasarkan lima komponen yang diusulkan dalam model Standard Nasional Teknologi Pendidikan untuk Administrator (NETS-A). Borang soal selidik diedarkan secara atas talian kepada guru sekolah menengah di Daerah Pekan,Pahang. Dapatan kajian ini menunjukkan tahap amalan kepimpinan teknologi pengetua secara keseluruhannya (N=48) adalah pada tahap tinggi (min=3.86; s.p=0.56) serta tidak terdapat perbezaan tahap amalan kepimpinan teknologi pengetua berdasarkan faktor lokasi sekolah p=0.7 (p>0.05). Keadaan ini menunjukkan pengetua di daerah ini telah mempraktikkan amalan kepimpinan teknologi pengetua dengan berkesan. Pihak KPM dapat memanfaatkan dapatan ini untuk membuat penambahbaikan sistematik dari segi amalan yang diterapkan oleh pengetua bagi mengintegrasikan ICT di sekolah. Oleh itu, semua pengetua wajar mengamalkan amalan kepimpinan teknologi sehingga sistem pengurusan sekolah dan proses pengajaran meningkat pada tahap yang lebih tinggi seiring dengan pendekatan pendidikan abad ke-21.
