Penilaian Kendiri Guru Pelatih Terhadap Tahap Kemahiran Pentaksiran Bilik Darjah (PBD)

Kajian ini bertujuan mendapatkan penilaian kendiri guru pelatih terhadap tahap kemahiran mereka dalam melaksanakan PBD. Bagi tujuan tersebut, kajian ini telah mengaplikasikan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan kaedah tinjauan yang melibatkan seramai 304 orang guru pelatih tahun akhir program Sarjana Muda Pendidikan di tiga buah Universiti Awam (UA) di Semenanjung Malaysia. Sampel telah dipilih menggunakan teknik pensampelan rawak kelompok pelbagai peringkat. Dapatan dianalisis secara deskriptif melibatkan statistik min dan sisihan piawai bagi mengenal pasti tahap kemahiran guru pelatih dalam PBD. Analisis ujian-t sampel bebas turut dijalankan bagi mengenal pasti sama ada terdapat perbezaan pada tahap kemahiran guru pelatih dalam PBD berdasarkan faktor jantina. Dapatan menunjukkan guru pelatih dalam kajian ini menilai diri mereka dengan tahap kemahiran yang tinggi pada setiap konstruk kemahiran PBD. Analisis turut menunjukkan bahawa guru pelatih lelaki menilai diri mereka dengan tahap kemahiran yang lebih tinggi berbanding guru pelatih perempuan pada hampir kesemua konstruk PBD. Kesimpulannya walaupun guru pelatih dalam kajian ini menilai diri mereka dengan tahap kemahiran yang tinggi dalam semua aspek PBD, namun pihak UA perlu memberikan perhatian kepada tahap kemahiran guru pelatih khususnya berkaitan analisis statistik. Selain itu pensyarah yang mengajar kursus ini disarankan untuk memberikan lebih bimbingan kepada guru pelatih perempuan semasa pelaksanaan kursus ini. Langkah ini dipercayai dapat melahirkan bakal guru yang kompeten dalam PBD seterusnya menyumbang kepada pendidikan berkualiti kepada semua murid.
