Creativity and Youth Entrepreneurial Intention:

A Conceptual Model

  • Hasnizawati Hashim FPP, UiTM Pahang

Abstract

Understanding the significance of youth entrepreneurial intention is vital because it can help future entrepreneurs look for opportunities and completely use resources dedicated by the public authority. Besides, it also assists the public authority to formulate extensive entrepreneurial policy-making to help those who want to involve in entrepreneurial activity. This study aims to examine the conceivable connection between entrepreneurial intention (EI) and the element of creativity. The Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) is well known for the best estimation model for measuring the effect of intention on human behavior, particularly in the entrepreneurship area. The presence of creativity in the TPB provides a new path for estimating entrepreneurial intention (EI) and helps to empower positive entrepreneurial behavior among youth particularly in underdeveloped areas that face various obstacles but rich with prospects.
