Abstract

Youth must occasionally be exposed to the political environment. More or less, their participation makes major contributions to the future evolution of the political landscape. Additionally, the political landscape in Sarawak is ethnic-based approach. The purpose of this conceptual study is to discuss youth political knowledge of Sarawak politics. The emphasis of the literature focuses on political activity and knowledge among young people in Sarawak. And, the objectives of this paper are concentrated on three primary areas. The first step is to begin about the reasons why young people in Sarawak are less aware of politics, to elaborate on the current solutions to help young people to understand politics, and to establish the relationship between political awareness and young people's comprehension of politics. These factors helped create the conceptual framework we presented and the three key variables we identified. The result of this conversation is to directly encourage additional studies involving youth in tandem with the Youth Development Policy.
