KORELASI ANTARA AMALAN KEPIMPINAN DISTRIBUTIF PENGETUA DENGAN AMALAN KEPIMPINAN GURU SEKOLAH MENENGAH DI MUADZAM SHAH, PAHANG

Abstract

Kepimpinan pengetua menjadi anjakan paradigma utama dalam merealisasikan Pelan Pembangunan Pendidikan Malaysia 2013-2025 (PPPM 2013-2025) dengan memfokuskan kualiti kepimpinan pentadbiran sekolah dan kualiti guru dalam mendepani era globalisasi. Justeru, tujuan kajian ini dijalankan untuk mengenal pasti korelasi antara tahap amalan kepimpinan distributif pengetua dengan kepimpinan guru sekolah menengah di Muadzam Shah, Pahang. Amalan kepimpinan distributif pengetua yang berkesan dapat membantu dalam meningkatkan kepimpinan guru ketika menjalankan tugas di sekolah. Model Kepimpinan Distributif Elmore berdasarkan Teori Spillane dan Model Pembangunan Kepimpinan Guru oleh Katzenmeyer merupakan landasan utama dalam kajian ini. Kajian dijalankan menggunakan kaedah kuantitatif melalui penggunaan instrumen e-soal selidik secara atas talian yang telah disahkan kesahannya dan kebolehpercayaannya. Seramai 300 responden dari 6 buah sekolah di Muadzam Shah, Pahang. Analisis deskriptif dan inferensi digunakan untuk mengkaji persoalan kajian yang dikaji dengan perisian Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) versi 22.0. Hasil analisis kajian menunjukkan tahap amalan kepimpinan distributif pengetua adalah pada tahap yang tinggi manakala amalan kepimpinan guru di keenam-enam buah sekolah juga adalah tinggi. Kajian ini mendapati hubungan positif yang signifikan pada tahap tinggi antara amalan kepimpinan distributif pengetua dengan kepimpinan guru di sekolah berkenaan. Kesimpulannya, pengaruh kepimpinan distributif pengetua dilihat sebagai salah satu faktor yang boleh memberi impak yang tinggi terhadap kepimpinan guru di sekolah sekaligus merealisasikan matlamat organisasi.
