The Impact of Coffee Consumption Among UiTM Terengganu Students
Abstract
This study was selected and conducted by researchers to investigate and identify the factors of coffee consumption, effect and trend among Malaysians before, during, and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Data collection was conducted among UiTM Terengganu Branch involving students from 3 campuses, Dungun, Bukit Besi, and Kuala Terengganu. The data collected through the questionnaire method is based on independent variables that are the factors that influence the impact on coffee consumption and a dependent variable that is the impact of coffee consumption among UiTM Terengganu students. Finding of this study stated that the majority of respondents among students drink so much coffee because they want to always be energetic, have a good mood, and reduce the stress of studying. The trend of coffee consumption among Malaysians from the first objective onwards is analyzed through the analysis of types of coffee drinks and places to drink coffee. . Data analysis shows that consumers drink more than 2 cups of coffee a day and this increases the impact on their health, especially the negative impact. Future studies are recommended to further expand the involvement of respondents to create more relevant results in this research.
