Abstract

The primary school art curriculum catalyses students' art education. By integrating DBAE theory and the requirements of primary school art courses, we aim to enhance the quality of art teaching and foster the development of students' art education. This article delves into the transformative impact of a robust art education program on students. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature, we underscore the relevance of DBAE theory to art education courses and its potential influence on students. Furthermore, we present specific art curriculum construction and teaching cases as valuable references for art education courses. This study advocates for further exploration of DBAE theory and the evolution of art courses in primary schools, highlighting the potential impact on students' art education and the importance of ongoing research in this field.
