Abstract

STEM education is an important element in today's education, especially in the career field of the future, making expertise in STEM a priority in the career market. Together with the development of science and technology, which is within the framework of the industrial revolution 4.0, STEM makes education a priority for society and the country. However, the declining participation of STEM education makes it difficult to implement some policies and strategies set by the government. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of psychological education in the areas of personality, cognition and self-efficacy on STEM career interest of students. This study can add value to the elements of psychological education and open a new dimension to increase students' interest and inclination towards the field of STEM education in school.
