Abstract

Promoting Aceh tourism to international communities is an effort to increase the number of tourists visiting Aceh by estimating the demand for tourism in Aceh from Malaysia.  The uses monthly data from 2017.01 to 2023.03 with a total sample of 75 months. Furthermore, an error correction model is utilized in this study to estimate the demand for tourism in Aceh.  The results show that only the income variable is positive and significant in determining Aceh’s tourism demand.  Meanwhile, other variables are not significant in this study.  Promoting tourism in Aceh for international communities to increase the number of tourists to Aceh is crucial.
