Abstract

Based on the rooted theory, this paper explores the factors affecting the inheritance of traditional handicraft skills under the background of industrialization and the lack of young successors. Through research, it can be found that it is the mass migration of the younger genera tion of artisans and young people to cities for development and their rejection of traditional handicrafts that together lead to the urgent crisis of no replacement of the old craftsmen. In addition, the impact of industrialization has caused the relatively weak commercial benefits of traditional handicrafts, which is also one of the reasons for the general lack of interest among young people. This paper analyzes the important factors affecting the inheritance of traditional handicrafts, aiming to provide useful reference and inspiration for the protection and inheritance of this precious cultural heritage.
