Abstract: To meet customer demands and reduce delivery times, logistics companies were compelled by the competitive environment of globalization to enhance the quality of their services and adopt best practices. The long hours and difficult working conditions make it difficult for logistics companies to hire and retain talented workers. It is imperative to consider how work-life balance could enhance job performance in the logistics sector. The present study aimed to assess the relationship of work life balance on the performance of employees at Logistic Industry. A cross sectional survey was conducted from November to December 2022. Data was collected from 154 employees working in different departments within the company. Standardized questionnaire was used in the research. The data was collected and analyzed using descriptive statistics through SPSS version 26.0 and excel software. Results were illustrated as tables, charts, and graphs. The findings of the research using the Pearson Correlation shown that there is a significant relationship between work life balance such as personal life (r = 0.744), social life (r=-0.205) and organizational life (r = 0.654) upon employee job performance in logistic industry. On the other hand, Multiple Linear Regression test found that the most contributing factor that affect the relationship between work life balance and employee’s job performance is personal life (Beta = 0.553). Meanwhile, organizational life (Beta = 0.297) is the second factor that influences employee job performance while social life (Beta = 0.022) does not affect the employee job performance. All independent variables have relationships with dependent variables in this research. Results indicates that work life balance are vital on maintaining and improving employees’ job performance. Practicing work life balance through the enhancement of personal life, social life and organizational life will boost productivity and employee’s performance in the long run.
