Abstract

In this study, we examine child labour decision to work part time and full time jobs in five districts and the city of Mahterlam of Laghman Province, Afghanistan. The study sample involves 210 child labours, aged between 7 and 14 years. Using Probit model, the result indicates that family income has positive effect on child labour decision to work part time. The result also shows that family size has negative effect on decision to work in part time.
