Abstract

Nowadays, gasoline engine has most extensive as transportation and passenger for the economical demand. Gasoline fuel combusts as clean, economical and abundant can improve the lean operating limits and decrease emission limits. The objective of the study is to evaluate the gasoline engine on performance and emission using fuel RON95 and RON 97. An experimental study was carried out on 1800cc 4 cylinder, port injection and couple with 100kW eddy current dynamometer. The engine was tested at 1000-3000 rpm and 30% engine load. The result showed increase BMEP and cylinder pressure when engine using RON97. While CO2 and HC were decreased when increased rpm and instead for NOX.
