Abstract

A Cubical aggregates produced by the shredder rock to rock (Barmac) while aggregate irregularities resulting directly from the quarries. The aim of this study is to assess the effect of a cubical and irregularities aggregate on the properties such as modulus asphalt concrete resilience, creep and dynamic indirect tensile strength. Styrene butadiene styrene (SBS) used has a binder type. Based on the properties of the mixture obtained, all bituminous mixtures using a Cubical aggregates showed significant improvement compared to the aggregate mixture irregularities. From the studies that have been conducted, a cubical in asphalt mixture is amended SBS seeks to enhance the resilience modulus, creep and dynamic indirect tensile strength compared with the aggregate mix irregularities. The CK modulus resilience value is 3896 MPa, while for the IK mixture value is 3502 MPa comparible mixture with the increment of thr percentage is 11.25%.
